set. All controls are extremely widereaching and interactive, and Boss has
included a handy gain reduction meter
to keep you abreast of the squish.

WITH THE SWEET LEO
Xvive’s Sweet Leo is designed as a microsolution to the conundrum of selecting
a single drive pedal. No matter whether
you play leads or rhythm, the Sweet Leo
is adaptable to either. It’s modeled after
the notion of class-A edge-of-breakup
amp tones, and the Growl control does
its part to push it over the edge if need
be. It can even cop clean boost tones
with the Drive knob rolled back.
