Enclosure
Materials
1x enclosure, drilled for a
footswitch, DC jack, three pots,
one toggle switch, LED, input and
output jacks
2x ¼” mono jacks
1x 3PDT latching (not momentary)
footswitch
1x LED
1x LED bezel, same size as the LED
1x current resistor, as low as 1.5k
and as high as about 15k (the lower
the value, the brighter the LED)
3x knobs of your choosing
1x DC power jack
Wire
NOW, LET’S
BUILD THAT
ENCLOSURE!
STEP 1:
Mount all the hardware, using everything
except the wire and current resistor.
Then, make a little loop in your current
resistor and slide it over the positive
(longer) leg of the LED and thread the
other leg into both lugs of the DC jack,
soldering just one and leaving the other
lug unsoldered. Take a piece of wire and
loop one end around the negative leg of
the LED, then connect it to lug 1 on the
footoswitch.
