STEP 4:
The potentiometers have tiny metal tabs
that prevent them from being mounted
properly. Snap them off with pliers, then
mount the pots and switch. Attach the
knobs.
STEP 5:
Run the wires to their appropriate spots,
including the 9v wire to the as-of-yet
unsoldered DC positive lug, the ground
wire to the as-of-yet unsoldered ground
lug, and the circuit inputs and outputs to
the switches.
STEP 6:
Wire the input jack’s tip lug to the input jack
connection on the first effect’s switch, and
the output jack’s tip lug to the output jack
connection on the second effect’s switch.
Then, run a wire from the first effect’s output
jack lug to the second effect’s input jack lug.
STEP 7:
You’re done! All that’s left is to play and
adjust the trimpot (it’s to control the
gating effect of the square wave effect).
