Support Opportunities for Engagement and Interaction Between Council Members and Residents
The Town launched a pair of quarterly events aimed at allowing residents to interact with Town Council members ( for more information , see page 20 ). Connect with Council over Coffee is a morning event that was held in July and October . Connect with Council Open House is an evening event that was held in August and December . Both events allow residents to approach Council members on a one-on-one basis to discuss any issues or concerns the resident may possess . A number of private , county and state agencies have taken part in the Connect with Council events ( for more information , see above ), including the Palm Beach County Library System , Palm Beach County School District , Florida Department of Transportation , Waste Management and Brightline . In addition to sharing information from county and state agencies on the Town ’ s website , email distribution list and social media channels , the Town is also launching a video series call Enlightened in early 2023 that will delve further into how Jupiter works with other agencies to provide services to businesses and residents .
