My wonderful experiences at Keele undoubtedly laid the strong foundation for my future career, as well as allowing me to form friendships for life – both with the staff as well as with fellow students.
I have known no other place like it – before or since – and, as with every other Keele graduate, it has a special place in my heart.
It was very important to me that I recognised this by giving back to the University and the student community and, for the last 20 years now, I have been funding the Student of the Year award.
The award celebrates a student of outstanding achievement and it never ceases to amaze me what rich talent we are able to attract and nurture at Keele.
