Set to open this fall, the Frances M. Maguire’ 55 Healthcare Innovation Center( HIC) will be a space of interprofessional learning, where students across many majors will work together to improve equity and access to excellent patient care.
Made possible by a $ 10 million transformational gift by The Maguire
Foundation, this state-of-the-art facility will feature large collaborative classroom spaces, nine skills labs, and 15 simulation rooms designed to teach our students how to treat the whole patient with a compassionate and Mercy-filled mindset.

HOW AMERICANS FEEL ABOUT AI + HEALTHCARE
More than half of American adults( 59 %) believe using artificial intelligence( AI) to assist in diagnosis and treatment will result in better health outcomes for patients and reduce the cost of healthcare( 57 %) within the next decade, according to a survey conducted on behalf of GMercyU by The Harris Poll.
