One look at CJ Wolfe ’ s resume , and you may be wondering how he ended up as the founder and CEO of Immortal Vision Studio , a

Philadelphia-based collaborative creative studio .
After graduating from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2019 with a bachelor ’ s degree in Communication , CJ launched his career in the finance industry .
It was all part of his plan .
“ When I graduated , I did what my parents told me to do . I got a job . But I was very strategic on what job I got ,” CJ said . “ I didn ’ t have a finance degree and there were a lot of people who didn ’ t look like me or come from my background , but I still prevailed .”
He chose the job because it enabled him to spend his nights and weekends creating content while also giving him time to build the necessary skills and connections to build his business .
Then the pandemic hit and CJ found himself in Mexico facing an ultimatum .
“ I was still creating content during that time and finding myself in super cool places . I was in Mexico shooting content when a client called me about the pandemic and asked what they should do about their life insurance ,” CJ said . “ I had to make a decision . Do I want to continue to create content or did I want to be at a place I couldn ’ t relate to ?”
CJ decided to follow his heart , but the entrepreneur in him knew it wasn ’ t the right time just yet . Instead , he made a move to another financial institution with more structure so he could continue to build his business .
He began his new 9-to-5 job on his birthday , November 17 , 2020 , and opened up Immortal Vision Studio on December 1 , 2020 . He hired interns to help get the business off the ground and after looking at his invoices , he realized he had finally had the capacity to go all in .
