Fall Academic Report and GMercyU ATHLETICS ACADEMIC ELITE
Gwynedd Mercy University Director of Athletics Keith Mondillo recently announced the Athletics Academic Elite honor . This honor will recognize GMercyU student-athletes who earned a grade point average ( GPS ) of a 3.2 or higher .
“ I am extremely proud of our student-athletes here at Gwynedd Mercy University . Even during a time of great strain , our Griffins continue to achieve at the highest levels ,” Coach Mondillo said . “ That is why we are establishing the GMercyU Athletics Academic Elite , which will honor those student-athletes who excel in the classroom each semester .”
For the fall 2021 semester , the Griffins combined to earn a 3.2 GPA with 27 student-athletes posting individual 4.0 ’ s and 88 student-athletes achieving inaugural honors at the

The top male GPA was recorded by the men ’ s tennis team , who combined for a 3.27 GPA and the top female team GPA belonged to softball and their impressive 3.63 GPA . The softball team reported three 4.0 individual GPA ’ s , while field hockey and men ’ s basketball each offered four studentathletes with a perfect GPA .
