Women ' s Basketball
GMercyU ’ s Women ’ s Basketball Team was the top scoring offense in NCAA Division III for the 2019-20 season , averaging 89.0 points per game this season . The team also broke individual team records for points in a game ( 115 ) and surpassed the 100-point mark eight times this season . Additionally , the squad was tops in Division III in total steals ( 537 ) and second in steals per game ( 19.2 ). GMercyU advanced to the semifinals of the Atlantic East Conference Tournament and qualified for the ECAC Tournament finishing with a 15-13 overall and 8-4 conference record . This season marked the end for the team ’ s three seniors : Denise Sacco , Tolu Omole , and Chyanne Fine .

The Griffins were off to a strong 3-2 start before the season was cut short in mid-March . The squad tied with Immaculata University for the highest team GPA among the seven teams in the Atlantic East Conference with a 3.57 . Both the men ’ s and women ’ s lacrosse teams earned the distinct honor for the second-straight year . The team said goodbye to its three seniors : Victoria Mollitor , Samantha Brown , and Jessica Ziegler .
