Spirituals are a rich part of our American heritage and a perfect way to capture the " spirit " of the season! The program will focus on the HOPE of Christmas, just as African-American spirituals speak to the history, the suffering, the hope and the resolve of a people who were able to sing through their suffering and tell their heroic stories of triumph and survival through these songs.
