Braai ranges
Professional built-in braais The Professional range combines clean modern lines with practical features. When closed, the single door creates a neat visual statement. When opened, the door slides beneath the ashpan and can be used as a workspace. This range is also available as spit braais, combination braais, and freestanding braais.
DeLuxe braais The DeLuxe braai remains one of Thermo Fires’ established ranges and has been updated with double doors. Locking knobs help reduce door rattle when operating in windy conditions.
Combination braais Thermo Fires’ extensive range of combination braais incorporate woodburning and gas barbecue sections in a single unit. This gives users the option to cook over wood when time allows, or use gas when convenience is the priority. The range is available in 19 sizes and configurations, from 1 200mm to 2 250mm wide.
Freestanding braais For homeowners who do not want the mess or disruption of building work, Thermo Fires offers freestanding braais on a pedestal or cabinet. These are supplied standard with 2.4m flues, turbo cowl, and ceiling plate. Thermo Fires says it was the first company to manufacture a freestanding braai with double-skinned sides to keep the exterior cooler to the touch.
Insert braais, ashpan / table-top braais, frames, and doors For upgrades to existing brick braais, or for homeowners who do not require a full braai unit, Thermo Fires offers insert braais, ashpan or table-top braais, and custom-manufactured braai door sets. The company also manufactures a counterweighted slide-up door frame set.
The company started 23 years ago with R25 000, a dream, and a team determined to make it work.
