Features unique to Infiniti Fires wood stoves
Pull-out table: Many of our wood stoves feature a pull-out table. Located discreetly below the wood stove door, this table can be pulled out when lighting, refuelling or cleaning the fire. When not in use, the pull-out table can be easily pushed in, hiding any ash or wood chips dropped into it for cleaning later.
Conversion inserts: Many existing homes already have built-in open steel fireplaces manufactured by one of the big fireplace suppliers that made these in the past. Replacing these with a modern, high-efficiency wood stove means you need a builder to break out this fireplace and then install a modern wood stove insert. This is often an expensive 2-3 day job for a builder, and thereafter, additional costs may be incurred for cracking between the old and new plaster. Infiniti Fires makes conversion inserts designed to solve this problem. The internals of the old steel unit are removed using a plasma cutter or similar, leaving the outer structural body still intact and supporting the brick wall. Our inserts are placed into this outer body and close up against the balance of the old fireplace. A new wood stove installed and operational in one day – cost-effective and efficient.
