Choosing a single colour as the basis for a room’ s palette creates a minimalist, monochromatic look. An easy task? Not at all. The process demands a skilled touch to avoid harsh, flat monotony.
Meena Singh, aimed to transform her guest bathroom into a luxurious yet simple white sanctuary but needed expert design advice during the“ mood boarding and product selection” process.
The small bathroom renovation began in February 2025 and was completed in early March 2025. The Italtile Boksburg store supplied all the products chosen by the client.
Romeo Spencer, from the supplier’ s Boksburg branch, rose to the challenge with a professional suggestion and something! He recommended layering multiple shades of white, introducing a textured pattern, and supporting colour accents to create a“ subtly nuanced and beautifully textured space designed to cocoon guests in comfort and luxury.””
White wall tiles only? Not a problem.
A silver-veined marble-look floor tile balances a pure white gloss wall tile, while hexagonal white mosaics in the shower area introduce an eye-catching pattern and texture. To further soften the dominant white scheme, Romeo suggested adding a nature-inspired element: a wood-look vanity complemented by sleek matte black accents. An elegant combination of matte gold brassware and bathroom accessories adds a luxurious shine to the tranquil space.
