Macao Academy 2026 is the latest evolution of an e-learning project developed by TLN’s Portuguese agency Message in a Bottle, designed to equip travel agents with the knowledge and tools to effectively promote and sell Macao as a destination.
Created in partnership with APAVT (Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies), the Macao Government Tourism Office and ECTAA, this new edition represents a significant step forward in both international reach and platform sophistication.
Originally launched for the Portuguese market, Macao Academy has now expanded with new English and German versions enabling access across key markets: the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Finland. Presented at major industry events such as Fitur, BTL and ITB Berlin, the program positions itself as an innovative training solution for the European travel trade.
The platform is fully digital, free to access and combines multimedia content (including video, audio and photography) with an interactive, gamified learning approach. Structured into seven modules, the course delivers practical, sales-oriented knowledge.
