Crisis Management -
or Is Spring Already in the Air?
This fourth edition of the TLN e-Magazine was originally conceived as a response to uncertainty. A moment to reflect on the impact of the Middle East crisis on our industry.
To ask: what can we learn from past disruptions? Is there a golden rule for navigating turbulence? What insights can inspire today’s leaders in destination marketing, hospitality, and aviation?
This was the brief we shared with our 25 TLN member agencies across 50 global markets -professionals representing destinations, hotels, airlines and cruise brands, at the forefront of our industry. And yes, the responses delivered include thoughtful perspectives, practical strategies, and valuable lessons in crisis management.
Just look at the diversity of stories in this edition. From a chic Caribbean event in Paris to an exclusive pickleball tournament in São Paulo. From a high-impact cruise media activation in Tokyo to innovative familiarization concepts spanning the Florida Keys, Bali, Tanzania and Cambodia.

This fifth edition of the Travel Lifestyle Network’s e-magazine was originally intended to celebrate the many highlights of our best-ever Annual General Meeting, held in Corfu, Greece. In truth, we could have filled an entire magazine with the insights, presentations, island discoveries and memorable evenings we shared there.
The Corfu AGM reminded us once again that digital meetings, however efficient, can never replace the energy of a real gathering: a community of experts united by the same passion, profession and commitment to our global partners in the travel and lifestyle industry. We all returned home with renewed inspiration, fresh ideas and stronger friendships. In this edition, you will find AGM reflections from David, our TLN President; from Ruben, winner of the AGM contest; and an interview with the President of the Corfu Chamber of Commerce who co-sponsored the AGM.
But there is so much reading material: travel trends and outbound potential from India, Taiwan and Mexico; the revival of printed travel magazines in Brazil; case studies on crisis management in Greece and community marketing in Israel; innovative B2B events in the Caribbean, St. Petersburg, Japan and Scandinavia; scalable blogger campaigns in the Netherlands; luxury event strategies in the UK; and a gender diversity campaign in France.
I also warmly invite you to register for our annual pre-WTM cocktail party, and encourage independent PR and marketing agencies to consider joining our network.
May this summer bring renewed global stability,
prosperity and joy to all.
Enjoy the read,
