AFL GRAND FINAL LIVE SITE
Concept The End Result
In 2014, TLA created the 2020 Vision for the AFL and
part of this included the Footy Festival – a four day,
all ages, free event held within Yarra Park during
Grand Final week. Since its conception TLA has been
responsible for delivering this project, managing the
overall site from bump in through until bump out. The Footy Festival attracted the highest attendance on record, generated
significant media coverage and TLA successfully delivered the four day event
over a two week build, operation and dismantle period.
Video Summary
This includes working with contractors, suppliers,
partners and key stakeholders to ensure a safe
and efficient build, operation and dismantle of the
site. Furthermore TLA works with the AFL and their
partners to create unique activations and experiences
for fans culminating with the Grand Final Parade and
Grand Final Day Live Site.
The precinct includes a Kids Zone, Taste of Football
Dining/Bar Precinct and Toyota Live Site.
The Footy Festival attracts local and interstate fans
of all ages with the key demographic being young
families.
