HALFTIME
For today’s halftime entertainment, the Jacksonville Jaguars proudly welcome The US Special
Operations Command Parachute Team, “The Para-Commandos.” The Para-Commandos are
based at the Special Operations Command HQs in beautiful MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa
Florida. The Special Operations Command is the higher headquarters for all US Military Special
Operations, to include the US Army Special Forces, commonly known as the Green Berets; the
US Army Rangers; the US Navy SEALS; the US Air Force Para-Rescue; the US Marine Corps
Raiders; and a myriad of other Special Operations and Special Operations Support Activities.
All totaled, the Special Operations Command has more than 85,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen,
Marines, Department of Defense Civilians and supporting contractors stationed across the
United States and deployed to more than 85 countries around the globe defending your
freedom.
