STEP ONE
1 . Using the pre-lighten formula , place in back-to-back foils outlining the top triangular segment . In each foil , be sure to feather the lightener up toward the base .
2 . Work around the full outline of the top segment , staggering 2 foils deep into the triangle , until you reach the front again .
3 . While the lightener processes , apply Step One - Formula 1 to the remaining hair beneath the foils and Step One - Formula 2 to the hair not in foils on the top part of the head . Process for a full 20 minutes .
4 . Rinse well and shampoo with Paul Mitchell ® Color Protect ® Post Color Shampoo and condition .

STEP TWO
1 . Resection the pre-lightened hair and in diagonal sections , alternate Step Two Formulas 1 and 2 to this segment .
2 . Process for the full 25 minutes and rinse well . Shampoo with Paul Mitchell ® Color Protect ® Post Color Shampoo and condition with Paul Mitchell ® Color Protect ® Conditioner .
