Opening Ceremony
On 12 November 2019, Classroom of Hope attended the school opening ceremony of Tin Hted High School with our local NGO partner, Child’s Dream. We were all dressed in the traditional Pa'O clothing to celebrate this event. It was a beautiful celebration and the entire community was there to greet us and show their utmost appreciation for their new school. Students, teachers, school leaders, representatives from the location government and education department were all in attendance. There was a formal opening of the school followed by speeches and then traditional dance performances from the children. It was a truly special day of honoring and valuing the importance of education for all.
