As part of 'Community Spirit' we aim to hold charity events which will bring the community closer together and is open to people of all ages, from young children to elderly members of society. Our first Community Spirit event will be held later this year not only for the good of the community, but to benefit ill and unfortunate people in the country and around the world. They money made from sales will go to the charities.
Food and drink will be sold at cheap prices and there will be many activities available for children such as face painting and bouncy castles. There will also be freebies given to anyone who attends the event.
Tickets will go on sale on the 1st of March and prices will be cheaper for teenagers and children under the age of 18. Adult ticket prices will close £5, but tickets will be sold at £2.50 for children.
The event will be held on Saturday the 4th of May from 12pm to 5pm during spring at Greenwich park. The location of the event is easy to reach by public transport if you are not able to drive there. You are able to get there by bus for free if you own an oyster club or you could consider taking the train, considering it is not costly and will get you to the event's location quickly.
The event will be hold during Spring during a time where the weather will be sunny and dry, meaning the event will be more enjoyable for members of the community.
The location of the event will be large enough to hold at least 1000 people, meaning that the number of tickets sold will be limited and you need to buy yours before they are sold out.
The event is not only aimed at one particular age group, but is aimed for people of all ages. There will be activites for everyone. A hired DJ will play all genres of music from all dates.
Please bring your families to our first ever Community Spirit event and have fun!
