Celebrating area residents over age 50 who continue to make a difference

Meridian Museum of Art was the setting for a noon luncheon honoring 10 people over the age of 50 who are vibrant , active , insightful and full of hope about the future . They are leading a path of giving back for future generations to take on the reins . Some work full-time , while others are retired . They all share a common trait : Giving back to the community through volunteerism , mentorship , actively serving on board and committees dedicated to empowering the improving the community or simply through acts of kindness .
Top 10 Over Fifty is presented by Mississippi Power , through a partnership with The Meridian Star and Timeless Meridian Magazine .
