Graham , who has three grown children , is a nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Anderson Regional Medical Center . Hollingsworth , a father of four , is semi- retired from The Service Company though he continues to work occasionally .
On the Sundays Graham is off , they go to church and spend the day together . He works on her honey-do list around the house .
Before covid hit , the Meridian couple was avid bowlers . Now , they spend more time on outdoor activities like traveling , camping and riding their trikes . They enjoy exploring new places to eat and different food types , he said .
“ She likes to experience new adventures ,” said Hollingsworth , who is more than willing to go along for the ride .
Graham , who is happy and content with the relationship they have built , encourages others over fifty looking for love to give dating websites a try if they fail to meet someone on their own or through friends .
“ We say all of the time that we probably never would have met if we had not gone to the Internet ,” she said .
However , she does warn people to be on guard because she experienced two situations with people pretending to be potential suitors but were fraud artists on dating websites . She quickly recognized them for what they were .
“ If they would like to have someone in their life , I would say go for it ,” she said of online dating . “ It is definitely nice meeting someone and having somebody to talk to and to do things with . Your kids cannot meet those needs . You just need to be cautious at the same time .” T www . meridianstar . com
