The new year is a time of reflection and resolutions . Typically , we reflect more upon the status of our health and fitness than any other aspect in our lives . We often set lofty , unattainable resolutions , though our intentions are good , the drive to attain those resolutions dies out .

In order to be successful in conquering your health and fitness resolutions , it is important that you spend some time reflecting on yourself . Meditation , finding that quietness within yourself , is essential for overall wellness and self-reflection . Below are 10 helpful tips to help you reflect on your past year and reflect on where you need to be moving forward into the New Year . 10 Helpful Tips
• Journal writing : You must believe in yourself if you want to be successful in accomplishing your health and fitness goals . Journal writing is a time of reflection and to get real with yourself . Ask yourself questions , such as : What are my potential obstacles for the day ? What is one nice thing I can do for myself today ?
Also , have a positive mantra , such as “ I ’ ve got this ”, “ I ’ m good enough ”, “ No fear ”. Reflecting on yourself each day honestly and positively will help you believe in yourself . Believing in yourself is critical to your success .
