MCC Foundation Lifetime Questers

More than 60 MCC Lifetime Questers visited the Mississippi Children ’ s Museum- Meridian ( MCM-Meridian ), the East Mississippi satellite campus of the Mississippi Children ’ s Museum . The hands-on museum creates experiences to inspire excellence and a lifelong joy of learning while focusing on literacy and arts , STEAM , and health and nutrition . Claire Huff , assistant director of education , greeted and presented an overview of the museum to the Lifetime Questers .

Lifetime Quest is the MCC Foundation ’ s learning in retirement program . People with many different interests participate in Lifetime Quest programs including retirees and those who have not retired . Individuals and couples , from all backgrounds , participate in vast array of activities . With an annual membership , participants can experience an exciting array of mini-programs , special events , and travel ventures . There are monthly reading and discussion group sessions and there is a monthly Lunch Bunch event . A variety of topics are presented , including author discussions , demonstrations , music , and presentations on MCC programs .
Lifetime Quest also sponsors travel adventures in and around the state .
