Couple enjoys hitting the road in RV

When Carlton Lafferty and his wife Jane get the desire to hit the open road , they don ’ t have to pack their bags – they just hook up their “ toy hauler ” style camper , gas up and go .
The couple are part of an increasingly popular pastime – camping in a recreational vehicle , more commonly known as an RV . According to the website Outdoorsy , there was a surge in RV travel in 2020 – likely caused in part by travelers ’ desire to leave home without being exposed to sizable groups of people during the height of the COVID pandemic .
