Now, Jarv isn’t the only band founder and member to secure a book deal. Suede front man, Brett Anderson has also sold his memoirs to publishers Little Brown to give the public a glimpse into his life. The book focuses on his family history, the eccentric influences of his father and life growing up to finding Suede. Anderson’s memoirs Coal Black Morning,s - a reference to the death of his mother, the loss of his lover and the Britain of the 1900’s.
Whatever the result in terms of the sales of the two books, I am sure they will be greatly adored by loyal fans. With Anderson’s memoir portraying his gloomy scope of Britain in the 1990’s, whilst leaving space for others to associate themselves with Anderson. Could this be a chance to get to know the real Anderson and Cocker on a more personal level rather than their eccentric stage personas?
