UK prepares for London build 2019
The London Build expo takes place on 27 and 28 November
2019 at Olympia, London. The expo is expected to bring
together over 25 000 construction professionals.
T
he event will also host the largest-ever meeting of women
in construction in the UK; the launch of the world's
first-ever LinkedIn Networking Lounge; and an attempt to
break the world record for the most ‘Movember Moustaches’ at
a single event.
The show is free-to-attend and features 500 speakers, 220
hours of CPD, 350 exhibitors and unrivalled networking events.
Attendees will get an opportunity to learn about all the latest
developments and opportunities in residential, commercial and
infrastructure build across Greater London and the UK.
The sustainability summit will feature sessions on indoor air
quality, natural building materials, plastics in construction,
environmental challenges for housebuilding, sustainable urban

design and circular economy in construction.
The show will also have the festival of construction for
industry movers and shakers across the industry. New for 2019
is the Humans of Construction photography exhibition. The
gallery will display photography of up to 1 000 of the most
influential and inspiring professionals working in the UK’s built
environment. The Humans of Construction exhibition is an
artistic and educational insight into the diversity and character
of the UK’s construction industry.
In the LinkedIn Networking Lounge, attendees will be able to
network whilst using the LinkedIn app on their mobile to scan
each other’s LinkedIn QR codes to connect. There will be a
timetable of speed networking events as well as various other
networking activities and entertainment.
