Timber wows at WoodEX 2018
The who’s who in wood descended on WoodEX for Africa 2018, an
industry-specific exhibition dedicated exclusively to the timber trade.

on timber construction.

oodEX for Africa 2018 opened its
doors from 11 to 13 July 2018 at
Gallagher Convention Centre in
Midrand, Johannesburg and proudly showcased
the latest and greatest in the woodworking
machinery, tooling and products sector.
With the support of strategic industry
partners, WoodEX for Africa offers a unique
business and networking platform to connect,
unify and grow the African timber, tooling and
machinery markets. The show exhibits
innovative timber and woodworking products
and services, such as woodworking machinery,
fixtures and fittings, decking, flooring, structural
timber, timber preservatives and treatment,
sawmilling and logging, pulp and paper
manufacturing and wood material and
veneer production.
The exhibition is particularly popular with the
African trade, which makes up 60% of
international trade visitors hailing from as far
