For a clear finish on wooden decks use Woodoc Water-Borne
Deck and Woodoc Plus-Life Primer.
The companion product to Woodoc Water-Borne Deck is
Woodoc Water-Borne Plus-Life Primer. For the very best
results, Woodoc Water-Borne Plus-Life Primer should first be
applied to clean, dry and well-sanded decking timber,
extending the life of Woodoc Water-Borne Deck and
preventing blackening of the timber. One coat of Woodoc
Water-Borne Plus-Life Primer should be over-coated with
three coats of Woodoc Water-Borne Deck.
Durable, tough and flexible, it provides excellent UV-
protection and water repellence. Like the other Woodoc
Water-Borne Products, Woodoc Water-Borne Marine is quick
drying, easy to apply and hardly has any odour on
application. The product is totally lead-free and non-toxic
when dry. The high film-build characteristic ensures a smooth
and attractive matt or gloss finish. It penetrates the wood,
binds with it and lends a flexible yet strong and resistant
surface finish.
Woodoc Water-Borne Marine is easy to apply: Apply the
product to bare, dry, clean and smooth wood. Stir well with a
flat paddle before as well as during application. The product
should not be shaken or be diluted. Apply three proper coats,
saturating the wood on the first. Sand lightly with fine
sandpaper between coats.
When it is time to do maintenance, sand the surface lightly with
sandpaper to key it and to ensure proper binding between the
old and new layers. Remove the dust and apply a new coat of
Woodoc Water-Borne Marine.
