Zeaborn MD very optimistic
on PHL seafarers

Singh, its Managing Director who himself started
as a seafarer; he rose along the echelons of be-
ing a deck officer who has become responsible of
crew members from not just one, but different
nationalities. Add to this a stint for a Hong Kong
ship manager, plus a Masters’ Degree in International
Trade and Transport that led him to be at the helm of
a bulk shipping company in the United Kingdom.
Then came that big move to Singapore where
he further honed his managemental mettle with
Zeaborn, of which he says enjoys an excellent reputa-
tion in Asia. As a ship manager he sees opportunities
in expanding operations with many ship owners

ounded by Kurt Zech together with Ove Meyer and
Jan-Hendrik Többe in 2013 as a global, integrated
shipping company, the gargantuan Bremen, Germany-
based Zeaborn Group has become a name synonymous

maintained a very strong presence; this was highlighted by the purchase
by the Bremen-based conglomerate of Rickmers Shipmanagement
(Singapore) Pte. Ltd. last year and renamed ZEABORN Ship Manage-
