Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III welcomes the
delegation of Seafarers’ Rights International (SRI),
a London based research center that promotes,
implements, enforces, and advances all seafarers’
and fishers rights, headed by its Executive Director
Deirdre Fitzpatrick during a courtesy call at DOLE
Central Office on October 10, 2018. The two leaders
discussed the preparatory activities to be conducted
for the First Regional Meeting on the Fair Treatment
of Seafarers in Asia to be held in Manila on November
