*The successful development of ANAHAW - Philippine Sustainable
Tourism Certification as a tool to gear the tourism development into a
more climate smart, efficient and inclusive industry is another major
milestone the project has achieved.
GrAT- Center for Appropriate Technology together with its implementing
partners: Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD), Green Leaf
Foundation (GLF) and Healthy Public Policy Foundation (HPPF) convene to
celebrate the successful implementation of the project in the Philippines
and Thailand and at the same time, celebrate the sustainability component
of the project which is the ANAHAW certification.
Speakers for the event include Mr. Enrico Strampelli, Head of
Development Cooperation Delegation of the EU to the Philippines, and
Dr. Robert Wimmer, Managing Director of GrAT-Center for Appropriate
Technology and Project Lead for Zero Carbon Resorts for Sustainable
Tourism, Mr. Nelson Devanadera, Executive Director
