For his part, Director Janairo stressed
during the graduation rites that the
prevention of water incidents and
ensuring the safety of individuals who
flock to resorts especially during the
summer season is a must and at least
one lifeguard must always be on hand
to address any emergency situation and
provide first aid treatment and basic life
support service.
“It is also important for these trainees
to maintain healthier lifestyles by being
healthy and physically strong. Abhorring
cigarettes and alcoholic beverages also
help enhance better perception and
awareness while on duty. Presence of
mind is always very important because
you are at the forefront of preventing
accidents and saving lives,” he furthered.
