globally esteemed Philippine Madrigal Singers. She will
also be greatly remembered for developing the apprecia-
tion and keen interest of choral music all over the country.
First organized in 2013, the Festival takes place every two
years.
The two top winning choirs chosen by the organizers
from the winners of the 2017 and 2018 competitions of
each of the participating festivals will come to Manila to
compete in the grand finale on July 21 at the Tanghalang
Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater).
Indonesia will have five contenders, namely: The Braw-
ijaya University Student Choir; e Deum Voice and the
Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Universitas Padjadjaran, repre-
senting the Bali International Choir Festival; the Vocalista
Harmonic Choir ISI from Yogyakarta and the St. Louis High
School Choir representing the Singapore International
