On December 20, Coast Guard Sub-station Pinamalayan personnel found out that the vessel was already extracted from its position by an unnamed tugboat and sailed to an unknown destination without the Coast Guard’s departure clearance.  Consequently, Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog has issued an apprehension alert to M/T John Nico for violating HPCG Memo Circular 07-12 also known as the Pre-Departure Inspection-Leaving the Port without PCG Clearance and HPCG Memo Circular 05-12 or the Master’s Declaration of Safe Departure. coastguard.gov.ph 11
