Here , it is my hope to circle back to many of these later on in future articles . In the previous article , I provided many descriptions of what Spiritual Disciplines are . These were from a relational lens , which if not approached that way tends to twist , disfigure , and deaden the Disciplines . Here is a basic overview if you missed the last article or need a refresher .
Relational and intentional ways from which we can learn to live in the back and forth — interactive , joyful , and loyal covenant relationship with the LORD our God who is , the Father , the Son , and the Holy Spirit .
Ways we can learn to practice healthy , life-giving , joyful , and loyal relationships with people where we live and congregate , but also as lights in our workplaces , with strangers , and even our enemies .
Spirit-led ways we can cooperate with the initiating , renewing , restoring , forming , and transforming the grace of God . This relational process is on the path towards relational goals of growing to know God better ,
