The Bible tells us that in this life we will suffer tribulations and testing . Many often fail their tests by making all kinds of mistakes . When this happens , many , instead of trusting , will gripe , groan , and even mumble . I have seen , while encountering these trials that many lose their temper and as a result , their trust diminishes . However , I have also seen others gloriously overcome these trials and become more assertive in their life of faith as Messianic believers . Assuredly , life has its ups and downs . I can ’ t give you all the solutions , but the Scriptures have some eye-opening answers that will enlighten -and- grow your trust in Yeshua .
Some theologians will introduce Hebrews 11:1 and Hebrews 11:6 as the most used Scriptures , which defines faith and in communicating why it is so essential . Here they are :
11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of realities not seen .
11:6 - Now without faith , it is impossible to please God . For the one who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him .
In some translations , Hebrew 11:1 , is rendered as ,“ faith is the assurance of things hoped for ” ( ESV ) or , as seen in the Complete Jewish Bible , “ Trusting is the confidence of things hoped for .” Here , the writer of Hebrews is seeking to encourage us that we can place our wholehearted trust in Adonai with confidence .
