the Holy Spirit works in and through our unique personalities to bring lost creations back into relationship with their all-powerful , merciful Creator .”
This represents the undeniable beginning of creation and the entirety of existence in , Ha ’ Devar Elohim or Memra , Aramaic for “ word .” Mankind was created on the sixth day ( Gen 1:26 ) and given dominion over all other created things . Did you know that you were made intentionally and purposefully in Yeshua ’ s image and that He is the master architect of the kosmos and the natural world ? ( Eph 2:10 )
Yeshua is the perfect representation of God in whose image we were created . Theologians call this the Imago Dei , or the ‘ Image of God ’— a reality surpassing our conceptions of His nature and transcending what has been disclosed to humanity through scripture , “ This Son is the radiance of His glory and the imprint of His being .” ( Heb 1:3 ) He is above our human wisdom and intellectual abilities . He gives life to every created being .

Paul contends , “ In Him we have redemption – the release of sins . He is the image of the invisible God , the firstborn of all creation .” ( Col 1:14-15 ) In this verse the word image reveals two ideas . First , Yeshua perfectly represents God like the reflection in a mirror and secondly , Yeshua is a manifestation of God in that the vastness of God ’ s deity and character are revealed in His Son .
Many have argued against the notion that God ’ s image in His Son means that Yeshua is equal with God or shares the same essence . Yet , when one gazes into a mirror , it is not another person ’ s reflection that appears , but one ’ s own likeness . Similarly , Yeshua ’ s reflection demonstrates that He is the tangible representation of God , embodying and conveying God ’ s nature , essence , attributes , and message .
“ The firstborn over all creation ” from the Greek , means supreme in rank . Similarly , David was likewise called God ’ s firstborn , not in the literal birth order , signifying his preeminent and honored status as the king of Israel . The Lord says , “ I also will set him as firstborn — the highest of the kings of earth ” ( Psalm 89:28 ), thus giving David the highest honor in rank , making him supreme above all other kings before and after him .
Like David , Yeshua is given an honored status . He is exalted and holds precedence over all created things , existing before all things . He stands apart from the entirety of creation . You may be asking yourself , “ Why is this important ?”
