In John 13 , we find Yeshua celebrating His last supper with His disciples . Yeshua knew the urgency of preparing His disciples for the enormous changes that were about to come upon them . None of them had any idea of what was to follow . His words and the events of that night are recorded in the next several chapters of John . In the middle of His discourse , Yeshua says this in John 14:25 : These things I have spoken to you while dwelling with you . But the Helper , the Ruach ha-Kodesh whom the Father will send in My name , will teach you everything and remind you of everything that I said to you .
The move of the Holy Spirit is complex . The previous quotation from John 14 has to do with both the past and that of the present , but there is also a promise for revelation . In these last days , just like Yeshua ’ s disciples in the first-century , we too need the revelation of the Holy Spirit to stand firm in the days to come . In John 16:12 Yeshua further states ,
I still have much more to tell you , but you cannot handle it just now . But when the Spirit of truth comes , He will guide you into all the truth . He will not speak on His own ; but whatever He hears , He will tell you . And He will declare to you the things that are to come .
