The Classic Story of the Prodigal Son

If you have been in the Messianic movement or the Church for a decent amount of time you have most likely heard the parable of the Prodigal Son . ( Luke 15:11-32 ) The classic story of sin and forgiveness . An ungrateful son insultingly asks his father for his inheritance to enjoy now . He goes off , wastes it away , and ends up eating pig slop and then returns to his father who puts a robe on him and throws a banquet .

This is a wonderful picture of our sinful state and how our Father desires for anyone who is lost .

I hate to say it , but at times we can get bored with the same stories told pretty much the same way over and over again .
