positive encouragement to continue in the culture and tradition that is normative for them all . Attempts at elitism against the wider Church or a rejection of that “ dead Jewish stuff ,” can be greatly diminished by such a model .
A Jewish believer in a One New Man congregation , worshiping alongside fellow believers from the nations can more easily function in their role as a light to the nations . The depths of a Jewish understanding which aligns with New Covenant realities is what draws Gentiles into Messianic Jewish space . The Jewish believer can fulfill their calling and provide encouragement for their Gentile brethren with the richness of a believing Jewish perspective on Yeshua ( Jesus ). The Gentile believer , who is strong in their own identity , becomes a friend of Israel while not claiming aspects of ethnic and physical Israel . They ( Gentile believers ) are through this , equipped to minister and in being sensitive to their Jewish friends , coworkers , and potential family members if intermarried . Through this , there will never be a sense of boastful arrogance against Jews , but of dear respect , blessing , and a longing for their salvation .
