Look Out for the Interests of Others
“ Do nothing out of selfishness or conceit , but with humility consider others as more important than yourselves , looking out not only for your own interests but also for the interests of others .” Philippians 2:3-4 TLV
Everyone has needs . You have needs . But don ’ t consider your own needs at the expense of other people . It is human nature to want to feel needed , and what better way to satisfy that need than by finding a way to bless other people ? Help those around you to receive physical , emotional , and spiritual sustenance , and you will discover an award of abundant joy .
The highway of holiness is the low-way of humility . Grow in humility toward God , humility toward others , and humility in service , and day by day you will reap a life of holiness before God and man .
