Business, Workforce & Education Group Visits ABAC- April 8, 2025
The Chamber’ s Business, Workforce & Education Committee had the unique opportunity to tour Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College( ABAC), gaining valuable insight into the programs, facilities, and student experiences that shape one of our region’ s key educational institutions.
During the visit, committee members explored the campus and learned about ABAC’ s long-standing history, its evolving academic offerings, and its vital role in preparing the future workforce. From agricultural sciences
to business and beyond, ABAC continues to contribute meaningfully to the development of skilled professionals in South Georgia.
Special thanks to Chris Beckham for coordinating the visit and to the ABAC staff and faculty who warmly welcomed our group and shared their time and expertise.
These partnerships between education and industry are crucial to workforce development efforts, and we are proud to support initiatives that bring our community’ s leaders together to build a stronger, more connected future. n
