Hathaway addresses February membership meeting
Tift County Schools Superintendent Adam Hathaway was the featured speaker at the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce’s
February Membership Meeting, the last meeting the Chamber had before the COVID-19 pandemic. Hathaway discussed the role that
schools should play in the community and the importance of forming partnerships to benefit all students in front of a capacity crowd
of nearly 100 guests at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. The February meeting was sponsored by Lori Phillips, Attorney at Law.
Normally, the Chamber holds membership meetings on the third Thursday of each month and hopes to begin meeting again in August.
Dr. Ryan Currie, a professor in the Stafford School of Business at ABAC, brought several of his students to the February membership meeting.
