Rhythm & Ribs Festival 2020
The 2020 Rhythm & Ribs Barbecue Festival brought featured over 50 teams from all over Georgia competing for over
$9,000 in prize money. Seven music acts performed throughout the day at the Syd Blackmarr Stage, keeping the
estimated day-long crowd of nearly 15,000 visitors entertained throughout the day. The festival also featured nearly 100
vendors and visitors enjoyed a beautiful March Saturday in the Friendly City. Ironically, the festival took place one week
before the COVID-19 shutdown so the festival was the last of its kind in the region before restrictions were put in place.
