Just the drive to Aunt Virginia’s house makes me relax and feel positive energy, as I ride along the edge of the Reed Creek with the song of the trickling water on the left and the crunch of hedge apples beneath my tires, I can literally feel all the trivial worries that were chattering in my brain go completely quiet. I have often told Teresa, “This is a place of peace and magic.”

After covering Elizabeth and her husband Richard’s wedding, the family generously gave me permission to shoot my senior casuals and family sessions there and I look forward to every session with excitement.

There is just nothing that can replace the charm and magic of a perfect location!

Imagine the magical charm of your wedding day as your family and friends arrive at a place of timeless beauty and rustic elegance. The lanterns are lit along the country lane that borders the banks of Reed Creek, leading your guests to the location where your wedding story begins and memories that last a lifetime will be created! The location is The Virginia House on Reed Creek Farm. Surrounded by the beauty of the mountains in Southwest Virginia, the farm provides an opportunity for you to create the wedding of your dreams. Untouched history is the focus of the venue, providing classic photo opportunities for you as your wedding party poses on the front porch of the 1800’s farmhouse or in front of the naturally aged barns right here on location! Open fields and wooded areas along the creek bank will provide your photographer the opportunity to create beautiful pictures that can be available to you in this untouched setting. The farm is conveniently located in an area that is easily accessible for vendors who will offer the services that will make your wedding day complete. Take time to enjoy the photography of Susi Lawson who will provide you with a glimpse of the natural beauty of this timeless location, The Virginia House on Reed Creek Farm.
