options to fit any budget, but the one that I like the best is Jellyroll. They feel the pulse of the party. They can sense the vibes from the guests and they can change up their music selections at a moments notice to suit what is happening. You can visit their website at www.bvtlive.com and search for the band “Jellyroll”. This will give you a sense of

how professional a band can be.

Make a List

After you have heard many music selections from several different sources, you need to narrow your down your options. This would be the time to start a short list. If you still have trouble choosing, don’t be afraid to ask the bands that are in the running if they are playing at an event close by that you can stop at. Please don’t forget, the night of your event you surely do not want “party crashers” at your wedding, so be respectful and don’t over stay your welcome.

The Final Note

Come to a decision and lock in the entertainment! You are now on your way to having a fabulous party! In the months to come, you should look to have several meetings with the bandleader to discuss song selections both that you want and that you do not want. You will review timing of the event, (this is a whole other article), go over special dances, bouquet and garter toss, and many other details about your special day.

Your journey has taken yet another critical step in the planning of your special day. Keep the momentum and don’t let another day go by without thinking – “what do I have to do next”
