Keep the Party Going - Destination Wedding Style

If your wedding is a destination wedding, talk to your representative at the hotel you are at and tell them you’re interested in doing something after the wedding is over, preferably off-site. Ask them to help you with ideas. If you prefer the club scene, or if you prefer to do something quiet, make sure you give the agent your thoughts and wants. You certainly don’t want to go to a loud club if you’re looking for a small, intimate event.

"Just because your wedding reception is over, it doesn’t mean that the party has to end."

An Intimate After Party With Close Friends

If your wedding was a daytime affair, you have many opportunities to continue. Keep your bridal party with you, and maybe you parents and close friends. You can go back to your parent’s house and have a little gathering of friends and family just to unwind from the day and relax before heading off to your honeymoon.

Depending on where your wedding is, there is always a chamber of commerce or Visitors Bureau that can offer you many ideas and choices of what to do, if you choose to try something else other than drinking and eating.

Just because your wedding reception is over, it doesn’t mean that the party has to end. The prospects are endless to keep the party going and enjoy quality time with your closest friends and family. Whether you choose to go back to your room, or home to just relax and spend time together as Husband and Wife, you’ll never forget this day! Inevitably, the celebration will continue for years to come. You just entered into a lifelong commitment with endless possibilities. You will have years to remember this day and many friends to share it with.
