Lavishly furnished, it features a sumptuous 7ft round bed and twilight ceiling so you can gaze up at the stars twinkling through the branches above your head.

As well as the big day itself, Ackergill Tower provides the perfect setting for incredible bachelor and bachelorette celebrations (or stag and hen parties as we call them in the UK!) The boys can start their celebrations with a dram of whisky from the local award winning Old Pulteney Distillery before blowing the cobwebs away with a choice of AmaZing outdoor activities including clay pigeon shooting, trout fishing in our private loch, quad biking or taking an exhilarating RIB ride around the stunning coastline. Follow the excitement with a sumptuous meal in the Great Hall, an informal buffet in the Morning Room, a pub lunch in the Smugglers Inn (our very own traditional bar!) or a BBQ at the Bothy!

For the girls we offer an incredible opportunity to enjoy a day (or two!) of pampering, laughter and indulgence. Be greeted in style with an indulgent Champagne Afternoon Tea, complete with delicious finger sandwiches, tasty cakes and pastries, followed by warm scones with lashings of jam and cream. Enjoy a relaxing massage, manicure, facial and an array of other beauty treatments whilst catching up with your bridal party. Choose from wine tasting or cocktail creation experiences or take part in one of our exciting outdoor activities. When it comes to late night entertainment, your wish is our command! Perhaps your party fancies a cozy night in front of a roaring log-fire whilst sampling some wonderful cuisine lovingly prepared by our head chef. Or for something a little more energetic, dance the night away in the Tower or be chauffeured into Wick or Thurso for a night out on the town!

However you decide to celebrate your last days of freedom, we can create a bespoke bachelor or bachelorette package that will leave you with memories to treasure for a lifetime.

Your wedding day and accompanying celebrations are moments in your life that demand a big gesture and a dramatic setting – nowhere rises to this occasion as gloriously as Ackergill Tower in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
