The wedding day is just the beginning of a lifetime adventure with your spouse. Married couples can sometime forget that spark they once had that brought them together. A local media personality out of Memphis, TN, has developed a new concept that will help couples keep their relationships fresh. Vashaunna Renee is the founder of “The Perfect Wife Club,” a concept she has been working on for the past 6 months. She officially launched her new concept on January 14, 2015, with the purpose of helping couples maintain the same spark in their relationship that brought them together. I sat down with Vashaunna to get some insight on her new concept and what she has in store for couples.

Where did the name originate from?

OK, so we all know that there is not one person on this planet that is perfect, but every woman should be striving to be the Perfect Wife for her husband. Each husband has different wants and needs, and through communication you will learn those desires, wishes, and maybe even quirks, which having this information is basically a cheat sheet. If you provide him with those things, BAM…he will definitely see you as a Perfect Wife.

Give some detail of how the concept originated?

This concept was originated because I’ve always been a lover of love and enjoyed the company of other married couples. After 10 years of marriage, I found that not all couples are as happy as my spouse and I are in our marriage. I found myself disappointed that the more time I spent with other couples, the more it seemed clear that not all marriages are as blissful as I assumed they were. Sadly, it has been a challenge to find couples that even liked each other or wanted to spend time together. With that being said, I am just not willing to accept the fact that people are in miserable marriages. The term "miserable marriage" should be more of an oxymoron than a reality. Many couples have gotten so disconnected from each other that they feel more like roommates than lovers, and I am sure there is light to that darkness. Which is where Wife Coach VaShaunna Renee’ (#wifecoachvr) comes in to save the forever (not just the day). Marriage is tough and it takes work, but it will be all worth it after I give you a blueprint of how to have and keep your marriage successful.

Give some detail on what the concept is?

The Perfect Wife Club is a community of wives and soon-to-be wives that strongly believe in happily ever after. We inspire, encourage, and become the cheerleader for each other. It is important to have like-minded people in your corner, that have the same or at least a similar goal -- and that is to be happy and in love till death do you part. When getting married, you get married with thoughts of forever. So if you have to spend the rest of your life with someone, you might as well have fun in your forever.
